University united methodist church Cancels

In-Person events Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The World Health Organization has now declared Covid-19 (Coronavirus) a global pandemic. We have never been in this place in our lifetime, so this is new territory for us and for the church.

In addition, in consideration of last week’s public health emergency declaration on COVID-19 by California Governor, Gavin Newson, University United Methodist Church (UUMC) leadership has decided not to hold public services on campus until further notice. Instead, UUMC will broadcast its services exclusively online.

As a community of faith, taking precautions to protect the most vulnerable is an act of Christian Love

While there will be no services at the church building located at 18422 Culver Drive we will continue to monitor the situation week by week and hope to resume the assembly in the near future.

In the meantime, services will be broadcast on YouTube (@University United Methodist Church Irvine) -Click on the link below to take you the church’s page on YouTube:

NOTE: Worship Services on-line will available on Sundays at 9:30 am.

While we apologize for any inconvenience this causes to our members, we feel that this move is necessary to ensure the well being of all of the citizens of the city of Irvine, especially the most vulnerable among us.
