Mike Regele is an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and CEO of DecisionInsite and MissionInsite, a demographic lifestyle research firm supplying census data and interpretation to many educational, nonprofit, and ministry organizations. He served as a Parish Associate for Irvine Presbyterian Church for more than 15 years. Mike has written several books and/or study guides. The common theme through all of Mike’s writing is missional change and the church. He believes the church has the best story; a story that the world needs to hear and experience. His work is about our churches removing barriers to fulfilling our missional responsibility. Most recently, Mike has focused his thinking on the issue of the place of LGBT people within the church. His new book, Science, Scripture and Same-sex Love emerges from his own family’s experience and expresses his current thinking and research. Every family faces choices. We believe that Mike’s story could inform your story and our community conversation.
