who we are

University United Methodist Church is a Christian Church in Irvine, CA that exists to help persons live out their calling as members of God's family through worship, social gatherings, service, study and high-energy kids programs.


We are a dynamic community representing myriad ethnic, racial, cultural, economic, and social backgrounds; a collection only God could assemble.


Whether you attend our 9:30 am worship service, the 11:15 am Korean-speaking service, the 1:00 pm Japanese-speaking service, bring your kids to Sunday school (3-12 years of age), Boy Scouts Programs, and/or, participate in the dinner groups, volunteer with events/activities or our Vacation Bible School, or a Missions Trip overseas, there is something for everyone.

Our Core Value

John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, taught grace - the love and mercy given to us by God because God wants us to have it, not because of anything we have done to earn it. We believe that God's incredible grace is always available to each one of us.
